We named this partial-albino Steller's Jay "Al-bee Jay." Whenever we saw him and called out his name, he flew into the lilac, perched, and awaited his special treat - peanuts in the shell or peanut balls. Sometimes he would take the peanut to the lilac and eat it. Other times, he would find a special spot in the ground, which could take him a while, then dig a hole with his beak, bury it, and strategically place a leaf over his buried treasure.
